1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

P2 and New Peter are the same. I think he was asking for a comparison between the P2 and the RL marlow 325 last.

Haha was just reading that - I assumed you had been in touch! Congratulations on your newfound fame. Can't wait to see your G&G bespoke - and I'm sure he'll want to post those too. ;)

Quote:Nah - just a random selection on his part. I have to say, it kinda made my morning as I've always enjoyed his blog. No G&G bespoke on the horizen for me Mimo - you must be mixing me up with some other lucky soul.

I'm sure you said you were being measured up at a trunk show at Leatherfoot or something...man, I need to sleep more.

Anyway, Vass porn will more than suffice for now. Honestly, I like it more anyway. :)

I have this one, but I feel as if the shot distorts the shape of the shoe.

It is on the New Peter and I don't feel as if this photo looks quite right.

You think it makes it look wider?

Yes. I feel as if the shoe on my right foot looks off in particular. I think they look terrific in person... But then I bought them. :)

I was thinking about a captoe blucher on P2, but I thought that would accentuate the wide-ness. Then thinking austerity brogue, but I've never seen an austerity brogue blucher by vass (though it will make it look skinnier, which kind of defeats the point of the blucher's chunkiness)

The oxfords look very nice indeed. Why the R? Was it a question of fit? How does it compare to the P2?
