1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I was sent the single in F in error, but it's my favourite of the Vass Monks now - curvy, classic and balanced.

The U lasts in this style look a little anorexic to me - the double in particular looks kind of underfed and reticulated, if you know what I mean. No lines or curves. And the double in F seems clunky - although my assessment is based on pics only.

Methinks it is because double monks should be made with the instep flap angled and never straight across the vamp. U last double monk looks the best in suede and with sharply angled flap (sort of like Lobb's double monk)

+1 .. JL Chapel: Vass U Dbl Monk :: Ferrari: Volvo. Pretty much everything else in U is stunning.

^ @ kolecho: good reference pics for comparing colours, thanks for posting those. Are Vass made by default with seamless backs?
