Are they both on 3636? Also, what size would you recommend for 11D US? I am 11 on most Alden sizes, Plaza fits me best. Also 11D on RL darlton, just for reference. I am thinking 44.5?

Yes, I'd not recommend sizing as mine are based on measurements. Sizing can be iffy based on your feet, last, style bloucher/oxford yada yada....

I am in that similar range too, perhaps a bit larger. The plaza does not fit me all that well though. I ultimately decided on the 44.5 in the F for my feet. A 44 might also work for you. As others have said, it will all depend on your feet.

Tombrone has kindly shared some of the pictures he took when he visited Vass so I though I'll share some pictures I took when I dropped by there last week.

I was there for 2 straight days and managed to meet Mr Vass himself. He doesn't speak English so one of the sales assistants there, Miss Betty kindly translated for both of us. We talked about shoes, the market and quality for Vass shoes and also the future of Vass shoes. He also kindly assisted in taking measurements of my feet and also helped me widen a pair of shoes that I bought (French Oxford ankle boot on the F-last).

Below are some of the shoes I tried on. The French Oxford in navy calf and scotchgrain was gorgeous. Will be getting those soon.
