Slick, what was the deal with your pair? And why haven't they sold?

They're a half size too big for me, and I want to bang my head against the wall whenever I see them sitting in my closet :brick:

So you sized down 1/2 sizes in F from U? When you needed to size down an entire size?

I'd say US 11.5 then Vass 44.5 on the F last.

If US 12 then Vass 45 on the F last.

My left foot is a US 12D and 45.5 in F last fit me perfectly. Unfortunately, my right foot is closer to an E and the F last just proved too tight, so just sold mine.

^ that's a bummer. My situations reversed: wide left foot.

Does Vass charge a premium for their Italian lasts?

I ordered through Kolecho and there was no upcharge. I've never gone to Vass directly.

Anyone from the US, who ordered from Vass directly, receive customs or other fees upon delivery?

Yes. The fees totaled ~$200 for a pair of shoes that cost $$800. Was not happy with that one. The second and third pair did not incur a fee though.

Yes, but apparently Vass will ship now with a lower declared value as "sample shoes", still don't know how that one will work out. Let's not forget my insane fedex bill, these couriers are a racket, highly organized crime, nothing more.
