1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

yep, they said 4 weeks for production, which is pretty quick if you ask me! I had it made up in the p2 last and was contemplating between a bal and blucher, but ended up with the latter as I should get more wears with it. Super excited and will post pics once they arrive!

G, when u said Vass was moving to Goodyear it was like somebody took a dump on a fairy, but then Slew saves the day with the word from the horse's mouth.

Just doesn't make sense that Vass would go gemming when as someone else said, their brand reputation in i-gent land and all over is founded on

[IMG] and 'my love and reverence for the shoemaker's craft'. Sure, maybe they'll do both, but way to diminish the brand's cache. Whatever, I'm appreciating those little bumps on the insole more.

Assuming 250 working days per year and Vass only uses that shoe tree provider, then it translates to 10 pair of hand welting per day...

Seems reasonable if they only have one hand welting guy... But do they have only one?

I asked for saddle shell, which is similar to whiskey - a bit less yellow and more orange. Cant wait!

Actually anyone who loves shoes should get it. A nice easy read..

That book combined with MarcelHun (sp?) youtube videos are perfect primers for seeding the desire to own hand welted shoes.
