Love it. Was thinking of the same model in Bordeaux museum, unsure though if F or R. Anyone has tried the R-last and may give advice on it?
Thanks. What kind of advice are you seeking? I have a pair on the R last incoming Monday.

Great, happy for you. I’m curious about the fit. The look of the R-last seems to be suitable for brogues or any derby. Although I would be happy to get brogues on the F-last, too. Have you had any fitting experience with regards to loafers on the F-last?

No not yet, but I have that one incoming as well on Monday. I'll keep you updated.

So, anyway - I sent them a mail regarding MTM or Bespoke shoes, and got a reply:

"Yes, we do. You can visit the store in the opening hours.
My colleagues will help you."

Yeah, good luck with that. Hopefully you catch them on a good day ;-)

I don't have anything on R but it looks a lot like P2. I like the P2 but F is just better especially if the shoe isn't casual.

The only time I would go with an R, P2, P, or BP is if its a boot or a very casual shoe.

R is a rounder and shorter last compared to F. F is more elongated and pointy. R is your tipycal classic English last. F is more Italian stylistically.

Personally, I like both. However, I do feel that the cap toe on the R is just a tad too short. I wouldn't mind if it was 2-3 mm longer. The same shape still, but just a tad longer.

Black is R, oxblood is F.

Hi everyone, I have a sizing question regarding Vass P2 last. I usually wear mass-produced sport shoes (Nike, Adidas,…) in 42 EU or 9 US, I wear Viberg 2030 last in 8 E ~ 42 EU, I wear Nicks boots in 8 F or 8 EEE and I wear John Lofgren 120 last also in 8 E. The length of my left foot is about 26cm ~ 10.23”, the width is about 11.3cm ~ 4.44” and the circumference is 26.6cm ~ 10.5". Can P2 last in 42 EU (F fit or G fit) fit my feet? I tried to email directly Vass but one of the representative told me to wait for the shoemakers to get back to me and it's been almost 10 days. Thank you so much in advance.
