^ It's really just the photo. I think my heel is up a bit on the right foot creasing it a little. They're fine IRL.

^ F last. In hindisight I kind of wish I had done P2 with a full double un-beveled sole, but these do fit extremely well so tough to argue with that. I darked the vamp and toe areas a slight bit since this photo and they look even better. More of a deep Chestnut.

So many beautiful options. I especially appreciate the medallion toe.

^ Yep. On the High Boots they are standard. Usually they have two eyelets and the rest speed laces, but I requested 4 and 4.

E is wide in the US. Is it different in Europe? In any case, I should give vass a look. My mutant wide feet always distend the shoe at my little toe.

Definitely P2 with a Vibram sole. The Budapest last is also a great option.

Received 65 chukka boot in U last, cordovan, today. Great fit but needs some serious breaking in. The top of my toe is shredded. :(

What's the break-in procedure for cordovan? Second, is there a special procedure for polishing cordovan? They did not arrived polished so well from Vass.

Vass doesn't usualy give their cordovan shoes a high polish. Personally, I like the more matte finish. From what I've always heard Saphir Renovateur cream is one of the best things to use for shell.

Hopefully they break in for you. If need be you can try and have a cobbler stretch the toe box a little.

NORE - glad you like the boots!
