1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I feel I get good service from them and also feels easier than ordering directly from vass and the total sum isn't that steep anyways

Those are fucking awesome. Would you you wear them about once a month? Also, on my monitor it looks like the shoe has darkened considerably, to the point I thought it was dark brown shell at first glance. What kind of cream/polish have you been using and how often?

I have a question conerning the size of Vass-shoes and thought I'll ask you Vass-owners. I am a UK8E in Gaziano & Girling (TG73, MH71, GG06) and UK7,5E in Crocket & Jones (348). What do you think my size for a pair of Vass U-last is? Is it more snug than G&G? Is it similar to it?

    Thanks in advance.

I see. Following your ratio between G&G and Vass U-last my UK8 in G&G should be comparable to 42 in Vass U-last. Thanks!

Anyone else having some experience in the area?

I probably wear two maybe three times a month, and less in the winter since I'm in New England

I've only used a light Meltonian neutral delicate shoe/boot cream once ... other than that it's been just a damp cotton tee-shirt polish every now and then.

I've had some issues with water spots but have long given up on trying to remove them. Also spilled a drop of grease on them (you can see it in the right shoe); I think it was when I was home grilling hotdogs at lunch :embar: ... also gave up on trying to fix that .. and have gotten used to it as a character trait in the shoes
