Gents, I have a problem with my first pair of Vass shoes and would appreciate any feedback.

I ordered a pair on the F last in 44.5 according to many sizing guides and I cannot for the life of me get the shoes to fit. After an hour or so of wear, the ball on my right foot and pinky toes are getting squished while wearing the thinnest socks I have. Will these shoes stretch out or break in after a few wears? In all honesty, if worse comes to worst I'm willing to sell the shoes if they won't ever fit properly.

    Thanks in advance!

I did the same. I bought a 43 and wore them to a christening. My feet hurt so much that I haven't dare wear them since. I might have to wear them around the house to see if they do stretch a bit.

If they don’t fit well at first it’s very unlikely they will break in and become comfortable. Karl from Ascot Shoes says it takes around 10 wears for a full day to break in Vass shoes. Mine were a little tight at first but after couple wears they were perfect.

Thanks for the response! Can you describe how a little tight they were at first? Was there any initial pain?
