What width are you in US sizing? I'm trying to nail down my size in Vass.

Im a perfect 9.5D US. Vass 43 on the U last is as close to perfect as it gets, just a bit on the wideish size, but nothing too bad.

Width is usually the limiting factor in U last - and Vass like most shoes seem to stretch a half size over time. If you have some width to spare in 43 you might be able to go down a half. fantastic shoes BTW

I'm closer to a E than a D so that's good to know. Thanks for the info.

Thanks dudes. As good as I had hoped! Im a perfect US 9.5, and these 43's fit really great. If anything, just an *eeensy* bit wide, but Im sure a 42.5 would have been too small.

    Well done - sounds familiar.

    FYI: I am a 9E on the C&J 337 and wear Vass 43.5 comfortably.

True to an extent, but I often find that good shoes will stretch in some areas, but conform to one's foot in other areas. Tough to predict until you wear a particular last/maker a bunch of times and see how things evolve.

Same here but I have the F last. They fit better around the heel than my other shoes.

From what I have seen posted here, not many, if any.

    +1

I'm also a 9.5D US (normal width). 43 on U last fits perfect to me.

^ Old English, Dark Brown, F-last?, I like...

Will give the F a go once I'm over my U-last phase

    Correct

Thank you for the comment. Not sure what is meant by Italian polish. They are dark brown calf polished with saphir wax.

Italian polish is essentially mirror shine that Vass can do. I've only seen it in photos. I think the flash just made. Yours seem brighter and more polished than they actually are. Enjoy then!
