1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I've now found that G&G lasts are too flat across the lake/toe to fit me well, so that decision is pretty easy. Assuming, of course, that I don't want to spend even less to go bespoke in central Europe.

Thanks so much for the pics and details. Can I just ask what the sizing is across these three pairs? Is it all the same or did you size up .5 for F? Thanks!

They are each size 45. All fit well, but I wear thinner socks in the F last and thicker for the R last. P2 is right in between.

That is what the IG ad said not really sure what the end result is. Some thing like this has been tried before with other similar maker but end result was disaster. But we shall wait & see the results. At least I am just my two cent.

Incoming from Ascot shoes. As far as I know, this is the first time Vass has done a Norwegian stich and stopped at the vamp. I can't wait to get my hands on them.

I never said it can't be done, I was referring to Enzo b that tried & what they produced speaks for itself & not need to go in more detail. And I will wait to see ascot shoes out come before buying is all I am saying [IMG]

Lovely shoes! But Mr. Kuti told me they do 270 goysers quite often. They did it for my pair below:

Beargonefishing's shoes have a Goyser stitch that stop in the middle of the toe area, so it could be called a 180 degree Goyser, unlike a 270 degree Goyser that stops at the heel.

Yes, I'd probably wait to see one done in cordovan, if truly possible (even Vass stopped the shell Norweger). For calf though, the photo is a sample Vass shoe already completed. Unlike Bonafe trying to replicate the method internally, this project uses the same UK specialists working for the major shops. This batch is limited to 10, but other leathers/shoes/boots may be a possibility going forward.
