There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I forget - I saw the pic of the completed pair and lost all ability for rational thought and just clicked pay on the invoice. [IMG] I do remember it was less than I thought it would be - nowhere near the premium that, say, Edward Green charges for shell. Notch would be happy to give you a quote, I'm sure.

Only downside is that we got out first heavy snowfall today, so it will be a while before these puppies see their maiden voyage. Do really need a CXL version of this boot!

Hi guys, sorry for the lazy question but I am thinking about getting a pair of Vass derbies for casual wear. Since I have feet on the wide side, I was thinking London model in P2 last in black calf.

Sizing question: I have Alfred Sargent Armfields in 7UK that fit fairly well with dress socks, and I'd like these derbies to have a little more room in toe area, so should 7UK still be right?

What are the options for ordering them from US? Not sure if these need MTO. Are there different leather options in black? Would calf be all right for casual wear, or would you recommend cordovan (I am wary of how it'll fold over time)?

    Thanks for the help!

Not sure if you can buy stock direct from Vass, if they have that in stock. But @Notch ought to be more than happy to help facilitate a MTO for you.

I believe it's still the case that new US customers can't order directly from Vass, No Man Walks Alone, Notch/Jeeves Store, and Ascot Shoes are options for ordering MTO. If you're not in the US, you should be able to order directly from them unless they also have exclusive arrangements with retailers in your country.

I wasn't sure if that just applied to just MTO or stock as well

I received my first Vass pair in the F last in a 41, I usually wear 7 UK in all other brands. I got them from another poster but they are in really good condition.

My question is they feel a bit wide which I can deal with but they're also gaping at the ankles. Do you guys know if there's anything that I can use to minimize the gaping?

For the record, the gaping only happens when they're on my feet.
