I don't follow the brand as closely as I used to so perhaps things have changed, but I remember all their clothes being made in Japan.

And this is a general question to the thread: did Nordstrom start carrying Ring Jacket in store, or is it online only? I suspect that it's either online only or it's stock from the USA locations.

Seems as if some items are made in Japan And some are made elsewhere outside of Japan, but either would qualify as being labeled imported.

The last repairs by Pablo Hadarits. These are vintage Florsheim 93602s that my kids will be using for a craft. Maybe some dyeing? These were in really rough shape. Heel counter had damage and soles definitely needed replacing. I chose the Vibram 430 and Alpes heels. Now they're versatile enough for any condition. Pablo recommended the yellow thread which makes the logo really pop.

2nd pair is vintage Florsheim spectators. New cork, added midsole, JR soles, cat paw heels, and triumph toe plates. Stitching work is even and consistent. Worth driving out to Guelph.

He is also offering free return shipping right now.

There are no local cobblers that I trust. I always reach out to ask questions first. I also look at pictures of past work. The cobblers in Toronto don't instill confidence.
