Was at Leatherfoot yesterday for the Saint Crispin's trunk show - seems that the tailoring is about a month away. I'm interested to see as well what's in store.

Went to Marshalls at Aura (Yonge/Gerrard) and the Bathurst/Lawrence Winners. Lots of YSL/SLP stuff if you're shopping for your SO.

Not all Winners/Marshalls are the same, have to go to the 'Red Carpet' or 'Runway' locations, ie, Bloor flagship, the one close to Scotiabank Theatre, the two I mentioned above, and the one at Maple on Major Mac/Keele.

Saw Lanvin, Gucci, Versace (if you're into those brands, which I am not) and mainline Zegna today

Thank-you Spex for the information. That seems like a reasonable price for Loake shoes that I could try on in person.

My local Winners usually has something from Polo Ralph Lauren or unbranded Ralph Lauren.

I went to the Winners on Bloor. Unless I missed a whole section, they had 2-3 measly racks. Saw a Corneliani CC suit, and a pair of Dior Homme jeans (29). Meh

Brown's Clothiers on Queen is closing (just that store I believe), so if you're not Big & Tall, I understand huge discounts. Also, Stollery's is still liquidating its remaining inventory. Its now on Cumberland or Yorkville, can't recall.

Took delivery of my RM Williams boots from Canada Post yesterday. No duties/taxes/customs when I picked them up. Should I expect a bill later?

Nope, not with CP. Count yourself lucky!

I got a nice fat taxes and 'handling' charge for a sweater order from No Man Walks Alone....

At the College Park Winners is a caramel colour suit labelled E Zegna mainline. I am pretty sure it is a fake because the font is not real clear, the inside label is not the one on real EZ and the stitching on the shoulder is pretty poor. Be careful out there!

I think I saw the same suit....it was definitely a fake. It said Ermenegildo Zegna Paris on it! Paris? I checked the pants and noticed that it had already been hemmed. I think this was a tag switcheroo, probably with a Z Zegna suit since the price was about $499, I think. I noticed another such switcheroo at a different Winners location that has designer stuff as well. Don't the people who accept returns pay attention when it is a high priced item? Anyway, pretty much all of the other designer stuff looked legit though: Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Etro, Corneliani, Z Zegna, Versace Collection, Brunello Cucinelli, etc..
