Samuelsohn 3-piece MTM with loro piana fabric. I had 39-40 chest when I got it made but it had enough materials inside when my chest went up to 42.
It looks really good. Only recommendation I’d made for future commissions is to lower the button stance by an inch or so. Samuelsohn has some of the most extensive customization options in mtm

Got out of the Brooks Brothers Supermarket unscathed on this glorious Sunday - three OCBDs and three pairs of loafers. Happy Father's Day to all the hot DILFs!

hey toronto folks -- been awhile since i needed a suit, and somehow all mine don't fit.

would spier and mackay still be the most solid choice in terms of quality and value? I see susu has gone up in price, and frankly don't want another one? is there another option in the $4-700 range that I might be missing? definitely looking for OTR

I need to express some frustration at how few traveling bespoke tailors come to Toronto. This is the fourth largest city in North America, and none of the big (or small ) names come here. Not the Italians, the British, or even the good Hong Kong and Korean tailors. Even the forum guys who are relatively affordable (Pastena, Sarti) don’t come here. What gives? How do we get more here?

Who even comes here anyways? I’m aware of Chiaia (whose prices I cannot afford yet) and some of the shittier HK tailors but no one else.

But how do you make this assessment? 20+ years ago, a visiting tailor might have placed an ad in the Globe and Mail. Today, there is no common communication or announcement channel. We don't know who is visiting. (But definitely not 'none'.)

If they were visiting with any degree of regularity, we’d hear about it here: probably the largest contingent of enthusiasts. And while there is no common medium of communication these days, it’s much easier to get your ad out there.

I didn’t say “none.” I said few, and none of the big names. Let’s just take Italy for example. Who comes here besides Chiaia? I had heard of Pino Peluso coming back in the day but I’m not sure these days.
