The internet is such a strange thing; he must be wondering why there's suddenly so much interest in his store.

I believe it has to do with carrying saphir products and doing sunken metal plates, which are not only rare but difficult to get for a decent price. I have a lot of shoe cream colours (and other products) from moneysworth & best but I always wanted to try the saphir ones (just to see the hype)
Spier & Mackay also have a strong presence in this forum, so the shoe repair shop location benefits from it.

On a different note, what do you think about the moneysworth & best shoe creams?

For shoe creams, I use Moneysworth, and Collonil 1909. I don't do the mirror shine. So I find Moneysworth and Collonil do a great job of covering scuffs and marks, and giving a glow to the leather. I mostly use conditioner (Bick 4, Saphir Renovateur, and Venetian shoe cream) to maintain the leather.

Moneysworth is made in Germany, so can't be that horrible of a product. Plus easy to buy in GTA for a very reasonable price.

I don't have any Saphir Pommadier shoe creams/waxes/pastes because I don't do mirror shine, and don't want to spend that much more. I don't buy into the hype.

Don't go there. He doesn't know what JR soles are
have you tried to educate him on this? Just because he's in the business doesn't mean he would know about everything......

I've been using the AE shoe creams on my AE shoes, but only just very recently bought the Saphir Renavateur and Lincoln shoe polish, which I've heard really good things about. So couldn't comment on the M&B creams.

Enzo would have been nice to get fitted for! and it sounds like last adjustments are possible.

Who is paying that coin for Marol MTM shirts? $500/pop. Hard pass.

Never the less, it’s good to see this type of thing come to Toronto.

I’m in NYC and the Watch Fair. Not complaining.
