    62A91496-A552-4833-A371-62906BFA6CC8.jpeg Hey guys,

I picked up those NWOB wingtips from The Rack, but they’re a half size too big. They’re 8UK on the 7000 last, but I’m a 7.5Uk. Anybody interested in a trade? Preferably new shoes in 7.5uk.

If don’t want to trade, you can have them for $500 local pickup (full disclosure: I paid $400 CAD for these).

They’re new and just need a polish from being handled. 9+/10.

    If not, will return them.

    Hey guys, need your advice.

I have a package on the way with about $1k worth of goods. All made in the UK.

Got Canada Post notification that it’s on its way, but also that I owe $700 in duties (70%!).

I think the mistake is that they looked at the MSRP price on the items, and not the heavily discounted price I paid.

If I refuse delivery, will Canada Post just send it back to sender?

Go to pick it up. I believe you can send it back to CBSA for re-evaluation right on the spot. By marking the package/invoice. I could be wrong

Try their website for a clear answer.

I just read that, Thanks. I'm hoping the receipt from the store will be enough to make them re-evaluate it.

Just went though a similar ordeal with a pair of crockett and jones. For the duty component, the shipper needs to resend the invoice with a CETA declaration that the goods were manufactured in the UK. For the taxes CBSA should be able to reexamine if you provide them with the invoice

On a related note. I was shocked when DHL got it right on a pair of shoes from Skoak last week. Thought for sure I was getting a duty charge thrown in there.

70$ in tax and their fee on a pair of 425$ L&T’s.
