It is unnecessary to discuss whether AEs are beaters or not. It may lead to unhealthy argument like comparing incomes. But yeah, if you shop sales, AEs usually cost less than $150 and Carmina or C&J even Vass is at 300-400 range
@othertravel may know better than me. I have seen returned order or display model on eBay for that price.Where can I get new CJ for 3-400?
First, we only focus on our own sizes. Second, if we are the same size, I would grab the bargain before I show off here. The next time any of you see AE for $150 CAD and Vass for $350 CAD hit me up!
You can get C&J for around $400 when you order during sales in the UK. They're usually discounted by 20/25%. But then you can get VAT removed, which makes a total discount of at least 33%.
Any hints on seasons to look out for that/or web stores to keep an eye on? I've been following Pediwear and Herring sites for a while and haven't seen C&Js at those prices, especially when you take into account the bane of all Canadian SF members....duties (not sure if CETA is actually affecting this though)You can get C&J for around $400 when you order during sales in the UK. There were a couple of Carmina models in my size on Skoak, but I opted not to bite as I didn't want to risk being stuck on a pair that may or may not fit. Simpson in my usual size is too big for my feet (learned it the hard way) and I haven't tried the Rain or Forest lasts yet.
Who's "we"?
I'd say even that is tough. Sure you can always find deals but it's not like there is a mountain of shoes for this pricePlus, you can always grab Meermin 2nd under $100

They list factory seconds on eBay. I haven't followed for awhile but anything I liked in my size always went over 100@CloudLi - where can I find Meermin 2nds for under $100? 2nds meaning used? Or factory 2nds? Either way, would love to get your sources and leads.
Yes, I did not follow either but seems like still many of them were sold under $100.They list factory seconds on eBay. I haven't followed for awhile but anything I liked in my size always went over 100
