1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

One can only hope that "luck" has no part of it.

But I wish you good results and a pleasant experience. Remember...mindful feedback--that's the key

I showed you the making process of this bespoke pair from Gaziano & Girling earlier, here's some pics of how they turned out (much more on my blog for those interested):

Out of curiosity, jesper: do you know how narrow the sole waist can be cut and still remain structurally durable?

Jesper...and others...may have a different take, but IMO, if the waist is narrower than the insole the vamp along the edges of the waist is put in jeopardy. Unnecessarily so, IMO.

If the customer steps on a rock, a branch, the curb, the runningboard of his automobile, or the footpeg on his Royal Enfield, just the smallest amount off center the weight of the foot will push the insole (and the vamp) into that protrusion and damage the leather.

    FWIW...
