How was Bisping still jetlagged for the third fight, when he was able to make the first two? No doubt he was partying late into the night with some UFC groupies. I'm surprised no one called him out on it.

What is up with that punk kid, Dollar I think, crying and generally acting like a big Nancy??

If there is one thing these Ultimate Fighter seasons have taught me, it's that a lot of these aren't especially badass in the true sense. They're just athlete who train in the art of kicking ass.

The true badasses usually don't have the discipline required to become professional fighters.

I guess it depends on what you deem a "true badass." Dollar is just a sensitive thug.

I'm talking about the guys who wouldn't hesitate to rip your throat out with their teeth during a fight.

Or are your really making a concerted effort to win the biggest douche title this year by a landslide?

Mike Tyson straddled the fence on this one.

the real true **** ups go in and out. they can train for a while, look good and win, but they go back into what they know. either drugs, drinking, crime and lose track. then they get clean train again etc etc. i.e. tyson.

IME, a lot of "tough guys" don't really have the emotional makeup to stick with training, mainly because so much of their persona is wrapped up in being tough. I've seen more than one guy come into a gym (boxing, BJJ, MMA, you name it,) train for a session or two, and then never come back. It's just hard for some guys who are used to being physically intimidating and dominant to be able to start from square one and get into the mindset that they will have to work hard before they can measure up to the guy across the room who doesn't look like that much.

This is one of the reasons that I like GSP so much. Having the type of honesty to admit your emotional as well as physical shortcomings and working to overcome them is true courage.
