1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

it should be a requirement of this thread that you have to post a picture to include a comment-- keeping in mind the title of the thread.

by the way, the JL Sandons pix are really great.

The shoe that I'm jonesing for the most is Vass Budapest Oxford Red Cognac (in the contemporary section). wow.

Another shoe that I wish I had gotten at their last 1/2 Annual sale was a pair of Santoni FAM medallion wholecut where the toe is burnished lighter in color....but Nords currently has this Santoni FAM shoe that I'm eyeing for their next sale if it's still available

JL Sandon side by side with Vass 3-eyelet Derby
Is it me, or does the Vass put the Lobb completely to shame? The toe on the U Last is unbelievable. Lutfi, those Santonis are great.

Hmm, have to include a pic? I'm going to have Schubert copy these as my second pair from him. First order should be here within a week.

It might indeed be you, Tiger02, should you feel ashamed about the JL Sandon. I own both and I wear both ... unashamedly.

This is my shoe purchase for the week - the Loake Twyning for Charles Tyrwhitt. I've got to say that I really love this shoe, and for about $150 it's a real steal in my opinion.
