1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    USPS didnt show up for pickup so going to have to take it tomorrow.

    On another note, what kind of ties are we looking at for this box? I understand that going by brand isn't a good gauge because even a Brioni isnt good (if its from year 1925). But in general, what are we looking for? Are Brioni, Kiton, Isaia good? Panta, Howard Yount? Just trying to get some sort of gauge as to what's expected .... for next round :slayer:

    TD is the final arbiter, but here's my take on it:

    (Almost) universally acceptable: Drake's, Panta, E.G. Marinella, Capelli, Yellow Hook Neckties, Borelli, Vanda, Hober

    Potentially acceptable: Kiton, RLPL, Brioni, Isaia

    Universally unacceptable: Jack Spade, Brooks, J. Crew, Hugo Boss, Valentino, Gianfranco Ferre, etc etc etc

    Thats pretty good. Id say Borrelli would likely go in the first group, as well as hober, vanda, and conrads new stuff.

    Obviously design is a major factor. Ive seen horrendous ties from almost every maker.

    But as far as quality goes, I find their ties are top notch, and the ones I have, are gorgeous.

    1. ThinkDerm -> Red (completed)
    2. Red -> Shoes (completed)
    3. Shoes -> Stitch (shipped / due to receive 10/10/13)
    4. Stitch -> DerekS (hope DerekS receives by 10/17/13)
    5. DerekS -> Atlas (hope Atlas receives by 10/23/13)
    6. Atlas -> MyMil (hope MyMil receives by 10/30/13)
    7. MyMil -> ThinkDerm (hope TD receives by 11/5/13)

    The above is the hoped for schedule.

    MyMil, does that work for you to include some goodies in the box (to seed the next round with the new ties?)
