I'm dying for this Thom Browne tb013 but I know it'll be too small for my face.

I usually wear at least 124. So that's usually a combination of 52-22 or as small as 50-24.

This pair is 47-21. Meaning 115 wide across the face.

Or watching nuclear test explosions in the desert in the late 1950s.
I do, however, really like these...

Thanks!

I was actually hoping to find them in Dark Turtle but had to 'settle' for Grey Horn.

But Grey Horn looks nicer on larger styled frames. The grain, veins and color pattern shows more than on smaller sized frames.

The cutler and gross are nice, the others....good for shielding from sparks!

Grey Horn does look better on larger sized frames. The grain, design and pattern emerge more than on smaller frames.

Grey Horn doors look better on larger sized frames. The grain, design and pattern emerge more than on smaller frames.

I actually like the grey, though I don't see it often. If you wanted a tortoise shell, you could always lean on RLPL, they have a pair that is $375.

Do you like the Porsche Panamera? It's something else you don't see every day.

Some of the Garret Leight in tortoise shell are vey nice. Very traditional.

I find that i am more find of tortoise shell when the pattern is in specks or like jagged pieces of glass like in the Thom Brownes above.
I think offer styles had the tortoise shell effect transition from color to color in a fluid pattern.

I love the Panamera. Its got its share of cons like the sheer 2.3 tons of weight making it feel heavy on acceleration and only 2 seats in the back. But you know these things going into it. Drives like a sports car though. Its the Lotus Elise or 911 of the sedan world. Excellent for those migrating over from real sports cars.

In a way , yes some of my recent acquisitions are somewhat on the eccentric side. The flash lens l.g.r and the contradicting spherical lens on a mufti faceted frame. But I've been wanting trendy and avante garde sunglasses lately.

I've decided on the Thom Browne TB002. The one on the right.

I initially wanted the Tb001 because of the stylish mesh guards on the temples but they're too small.

So I 'settled' for the TB002. It's in black iron not steel.

some unusual choices, I must say.

Any pics of you wearing them? i can't say I'd ever find a time when my go to would be sunglasses with a "mesh shield"

They're en route. A friend is on a trip in London and will be back soon.

I have contemporary styles too. Variety is the spice of life.
