You can vaguely see it in one of Vs Toto's outfits on Sufu:

Other than him and perhaps other people on Superfuture, I rarely see anyone rocking the u-neck here.

I think the u-neck only works if you're 120 lbs and are going for a holocaust victim look. Look at B Son's models - unless you have identical proportions, it'll just end up looking really, really gay.

I think it's very feminine...
but whatever. So are purses, and GoSurface rocks them well.

Please shut up when people are talking about clothes. Not everyone is interested in rrl/jcrew styled americana workwear. No one respects your misguided, closed minded opinions. I've seen some decent u necks from acne, bson, and a few others. Plus, there are brands that have loose crewnecks like corpus, lad musician, and others that i can't seem to remember. They work alright depending on your style. I mean, i wouldn't wear them with japanese repros and boots or something, but they can work well. I have a corpus l/s henley that has a realy wide neck and it looks pretty solid. Vs_toto there look good in it as well.

Please show some pictures of people who aren't extremely skinny wearing u necks and not looking ridiculous. The whole idea of the cut is that it fits very drapey, and that only looks flattering on someone very thing. That was my point - unless you have a specific body type (the same one that vs_toto has) it's going to look too fitted, and thus similar to a deep V.

Ok, then stick to threads about clothes that fit "real men" and don't poke your nose into threads like this with your stupid insulting comments.

You know what a holocaust victim looks like? Please shoe me pics of clothes looking really really gay? Examples of gay fashion vs. straight fashion? What do real men wear? What is the proper build for a real man that looks heterosexual?

What? Relax. I admit the 'holocaust victim' line was hyperbole, but I thought it was pretty obvious. I'm not talking about "real men", I'm not saying that if you're thin you look gay, I'm saying that in my eyes u-necks can only look good on someone who is very thin - and if you aren't very thin, they'll end up way too fitted, and end up showing way too much chest a la the AA super deep V.

If you have to start a thread about them they're probably not that easy to pull off.
