Mustard-y corduroy, maybe?

Now that I look at these altogether, I'm rather happy I went with an undarted front. The tieless looks above seem to work best, although I still kind of like mine with the navy knit tie. Maybe navy cords with a bit of reflective sheen rather than the charcoal donegals for the pants...just don't know.

I think that might be too close to the color of the gunclub which looks mustardy in some shots, but not too mustardy in your closeup.

I love the gun club check and might try pairing the jacket with mustard moleskins, heavy green flannels, or red corduroys. I have a pair of green flannels that probably get more use than any other pair of flannels during the colder months.

Here's me in a pair of green flannels - for your jacket I might try something a little lighter in color.

I am particularly eager to hear more suggestions for things that would work better with the gun club. - B

Actually, I like this sport coat/trouser combo a lot. Medium green cavalry twill trou might look good as well or maybe a subtle brown and green Donegal tweed.

I would prefer Navy moleskin, or cinnamon cords.

How about mid-light gray pants? Seems like they'd go with all of your jackets. Too boring?

I have a pair of navy Attolini cavalry twills that go with nothing else. Maybe they've been waiting for this jacket.

Burn the ships? Cut the cord?

That Kiton is a good thought. I assume you're comfortable with the navy tie?

I think that gun club is probably the single hardest cloth to work with that I have seen.
