1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I believe the politically correct term is "social media professional."

I just saw this thread and completely agree that this does not represent Toronto. There are forum members here from Toronto that dress better in their daily routing then the men here.

I used to watch that guy AlphaM's videos when I got interested in style, and yea, he's a businessman and seems like a bit of a guido, but he's enthusiastic, positive and gives some good style and life advice, especially for beginners. However, some of his style choices are dubious at best: tank tops, jorts, flip flops, chunky sneakers...
As for the "AlphaM makeover", I thought that was free, since he has a little contest with auditions, and If you win you get a "consultation" and about 600$ worth of JC Penney stuff. The heavy sponsoships should cover that.
Same for Dan Trepannier/ The Style Blogger- most of his stuff is cool , but he does mess up pretty bad sometimes .
I don't get the hate these two guys get [IMG]

The self-promotion, high prices, sponsorships, bland styles mixed with sometime dubious personal tastes.... Of course some might then say yours truly promotes blandness or is lousy in other ways (certainly isn't perfect) - for sometimes people just like being critical.
