I really like Ziad Rahbani. It would be hard not to be good given the family he comes from but still I find his music really diverse. He's done full on jazz and funk orchestral albums but my favourite is some of his more raw almost traditional sounding stuff

an extraordinary collection of talent having a great time. Spirit were so progressive and ahead of their time..pop, jazz, folk fusion with political & environmental musings. They hold special place in my heart. This song is on my top 10 list

Hendrix took Randy under his wing and he played in Jimi’s first band ,The Blue Flames, at 15. He lost his life saving his son from a rip tide in Hawaii at 45. Not your typical RnR death
His son survived.

^Good one, been listening to Love's Secret Domain quite a lot recently. Also, noticed that there's a 30th anniversary edition of it out, the triple LP had a ridiculous price tag though, something like fifty quid ;D
