1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

And this year is the 20th anniversary of UGK's debut album. Here's a little mini documentary featuring various artists.

this is perhaps a little too instagramy but whatevs, I like the vibe it emanates. Those Scandis sure know how to come up with nostalgia-infused pop

Warm Blood, Two Hearted, and Beautiful Wave are all definitely worth listening to if you'll into the whole pseudoacoustic sampleheavy whatever

I just can't get into Death Grips. I think I'll always be nostalgic for Zach Hill's work with Hella or something and just can't full embrace it :-/

I was thinking about doing a primer on Aphex Twin since he's obviously important and blah blah blah, but instead I think I'll say to either name an Aphex Twin song or album you like or just a random word, and I'll send you one that you've never heard but should have, that has the same mood.
