come on

If you listen to BM, but you don’t know what phase the moon is in, or what wild flowers are blooming then you have failed. It is shocking to me that one could be seriously interested in Black Metal and not be deeply committed to radical ecology. Is BM supposed to be about concrete high rises, suburbs, television, an easy modern existence with access to 4-tracks and corpse paint from the local hot topic? No! The music is about wild forests, unfettered rivers, nature: furious and vengeful.

^Really regret not going to see them in CO when I had the chance (of course they didn't stop by in KC)

It's the most ambient badass **** ever. Super chill and awesome. I've seen them twice, once during the first scion rock fest (best festival ever) and another in Athens. They played both sets by candle light

look at this ******* line up AND IT WAS FREE

My friend's GF went to the CO show and said it was amazing. That lineup is crazy, probably one of my biggest musical regrets of 2012 was missing Converge, especially after they released such a great album

I always love seeing converge, never get tired of that. Best time I saw converge was Converge + pg 99 + baroness at the reunion in 2011. Was crazy

That's like every heavy band I'd ever care to see haha.

All this MBV talk has me going back through their other albums, forgot how awesome the first one is.
