Just got home to my SF-01s (an anticato green w gum sole, a a mustard suede with a white sole) and long story short, they are damn good sneakers, with a couple of gripes.

I'll start with the things I like.
They are super comfortable right out of the box. I wear a 39 in CP Achilles and got the same size and they fit perfectly. CPs are noticeably narrower, and took quite a few wears to break in, so the added flexibility, width and cushioning was extremely welcome.
The leather and suede is incredibly soft and buttery. It's a different class from the other leather sneakers in the market for sure.

I do have a few gripes however, the most major of which is the laces on the anticato green pair. They are a few shades too bright a green, and really takes away from the tonal look of the sneakers. It is a serious enough flaw for me to defer wearing them till I find a pair of laces in the right shade of dark olive, and preferably waxed as well.
Other gripes have been mentioned by other users here - the anticato could be more anticato-ed, and the Archibald dimple at the base of the tongue, but they are minor and I am more than happy to overlook them for the incredible quality and value.

The winner of the two I purchased is surprisingly the mustard suede pair. I absolutely love them!

How is the antiquing / burnishing on the Sienna pair, if anyone has gotten those?
I ordered those and I am a bit anxious seeing how the anticato'ed varies from the web pics. I am willing to bet that the Sienna will have a better mottled effect just because of the overall lighter shade of the shoe. Let's see if somebody can post pics before I get mine... hehe.

Got mine yesterday and love the materials, sole, and overall work. This morning though, I did notice the issue that's been mentioned. It's more prominent on the right side of right shoe. I cant help but ask..is this normal or a flaw?

I've tried different ways of lacing and some might help a little but not much.

God, that really is a bit extreme. Now I am getting really anxious.

Pics in sunlight, this is probably my best attempt at capturing the anticato. The suede, of course, is that annoying younger sister that sits to the side looking hot in any lighting, and distracts all the boys

I did a comparison with the left shoe, I think it is actually asymmetric. The left side doesn't have this issue, and it looks like the seam of the tongue is overlapped deeper whereas the right side shoe has a more shallow overlap.

Each pair obviously differs given the anticato procedure is done individually, would you like me to hold back yours before dispatch if it hasn't already gone out?

112 boxes just arrived so 112 more orders will be going out today.

It looks to me that you probably have a wide foot. As the leather stretches with wear, this will probably correct.

That being said, there is definitely a design flaw that is way more pronounced on some pairs. Coupled with a wide foot - it doesn't look great.

EDIT: I should mention again as I have above that a cobbler told me that it could probably be rectified with an extra stitch. But still, this should have been caught in workshop QC.

Looking forward to my suede shoes! But in the meantime I'll take anyone's green anticato with gum soles! That looks like a killer combination. Although should wait for the second wave with the issue with the tongue overlap corrected. I think Rohan was saying he will take into consideration all our feedback for the next series of the SF-01.

I do have a wider foot, so I guess that's a factor. I'm not sure if this particular area will stretch but looks like I have no choice but to wait and see. Initially, I thought it might just be the way it was designed but the left shoe isn't cut this "shallow" and therefore doesn't have this issue.

The white soles with mustard suede look so much better than the gum sole versions others have posted.

Yes i think they are. But no worries you will have time to make that order if you want.

Customer support is going a bit mad it seems someone featured the bags on television in Korea last night. They will be with you, I am sure.
Thanks @ArchibaldRoh for the help, busy dude lol
