Not sure how doable it would be, but how do you all feel about a spade sole? I feel a subtle rendition of it, such as in this video: would add additional character to the shoe as well as emphasizing the chisel of the last. I understand it's not for everyone, and is rarely seen outside of bespoke or vintage offerings, but just figured I'd put that out there!

I don't like it that much and think it makes it look a bit clunky (but that's just my opinion).
I'd rather have the toe cap elegantly curved above the welt.

It was very difficult trying to find an example photo of a spade that wasn't huge, which is why I had to find the most "subtle" one I could, so you're definitely right about that clunkiness. I'll have to agree with you, a curved sole would be more fitting. Cheers!

All 3 are stunning. I am partial for the Horween one but I must say the one in suede... woooow. But don't get me wrong, the pebbled one is also damn nice. Wouldn't have thought it would be that nice considering that the shoe type is more formal.

Yes full grain! It's basically the same we use for this and will be available also in black.

Other good news... we had a chat with Saphir Medaille D'Or and we might be able to include in our HW-01 packaging a can of leather conditioner and a shoe horn in real horn too. Will keep you updated on this too!

It will but we will insist on using the hand-welted shoes 001 last measuring guide in any case as the HW collection has half sizes.
