Pugh did the ballet thing, but it wasn't a collection so much as costuming.

Yeah, the closest is probably the CdG thing since it was direcly inspired by a specific collection, Yohji also did that stuff with Pina Bausch as you're probably aware of if you follow the YY thread.

Here's some other stuff that is not what you were looking for

The collab between CDG and Cunningham was titled Scenario , it took place in 1997 and was inspired by the Spring 1997 collection Dress Meets Body, Body Meets Dress and They Are One (aka Lumps and Bumps).

You are a beautiful human being, sipang. The Loss of Small Detail made me want to learn to dance like that (the body movements are so sharp and dramatic!). Also wanna see all 70 minutes of Drumming now haha

Hmm, no. Design in general is a relatively new interest for the middle class.

I've been trying to find some (any) information about the following with no luck:

What, if anything, is the designer Carola Euler doing now?

i emailed her a while back when you posted that 3/4 sleeve shirt; shes working for a different clothing brand.
ill try to dig it up but i think i deleted the convo. the clothes werent as nice as her own brand/your shirt!

also, adeline basely of [stat-ment] said she is shutting it down in a few weeks :(

    edit: here it is!!

Dear Snowman, (lol, i put my real name!!)

    thank you for your enquiry.

I actually stopped my label and started working as Menswear Designer for the Berlin based brand Michalsky.

better put in the order now. i emailed her a few days ago because i wanted to know if it was possible to put in an order for 2 pairs of pants like the ones ive got.
thats when i found out the bad news.

I just need to precise that my job will change soon. [ stat-ment ] will stop in few weeks.
I have two weeks free again, after I'll try to continue but I can't promise.
    kind rgds,

    adeline basely

this is the last email of 2 or three between us. i asked her what she'll do in the future

yes, not enough custom orders and I don't really think I want to become a business woman supervising a big production.
I'll work for a young promising brand soon, I miss working with people as I work alone with stat-ment.
I'll stay available for my best customers.

    take that how you will..

Less shopping-oriented talk, more abstract fashun talk.

Also, some old articles, somewhat interesting
