as long as the shoulders don't fit as freakishly narrow on you as they do on the model, I say go for either.

Both look nice. I'd go with navy for daytime.

this is what i'm trying to achieve for summer sans footwear. sub in boots or simple black top / thick while sole sneakers (really do not want to buy sneakers though some PLAY cons is tempting)

Really want a similar jacket as photoed

I really thought about this look then realized where it came from
Also the fact that I cannot grow heavy facial hair so not sure if I can make hats work for the purpose of a breezy summery outfit. I sort of have a baby face

    looks great toasty.

@tog, those suits look pretty plain/ordinary... not a bad thing but I'd hesitate to pay that much... although the white specks on the black suit look pretty cool.

    lol farmer shah

would have been better had the tee (Silent, btw) contrasted more with the jacket, or ideally a lighter color.
crinkled nuur jacket 80% cotton 20% steel, very gauzy and stretchy, perfect for summer. duckshadow super thin, rolled up, so airy it was barely noticeable. reinhard jute hat and Ann sandals...

I was looking at this linen jacket by Bergfabel (Reinhard former designer(s)?)

Fits slim though size 48 has 19" p2p and 16.5 shoulder measurement

Ordered a Pino Larario dark grey-black blazer and a distressed dark brown Mario Matteo blazer. The Mario blazer was marked down to $35 and it looks like if only the bottom button is buttoned the lapel will roll out and it'll look like a 1 button, at leat I hope so because the top button is up pretty high. Thanks YOOX!

The Mario is sold out but here's link for the Pino, there's 1 left in a 42 in both black and blue...

^from my limited experience those random Yoox never-heard-of-it Italian brands run one size small. just fyi for future interested parties, not questioning a $35 purchase.

Guys in Italy tend to wear their clothes a lot tighter and shorter than guys do in North America, at least for the moment. Also, right now, for some reason, there is a "sloppy ninja" aesthetic that is making it's rounds on Styleforum, which has skewed people's perceptions quite a bit.

@Dlester, I agree... I have one Mario Matteo blazer already and ordered up one size. It's a 52 and fits like a small 50, nearly a size and a half smaller than normal.

I hope that Pino blazer works out better than the DD I ended up returning... [IMG] I also recently got a Silent button front shirt from yoox, it was a beautiful dark brown color, material was great... but it fit just like the DD blazer... a little too tight in the shoulders and really big in the body. I returned it too...

    looks nice, any fit pics?

Is there any structure in the front of the jacket? because if not, you could probably just press the lapels with an iron to look like a 3-roll-2

^ pppp, I tried a couple new season Dries suits. very cool fabrics. For anyone looking, fit is very slim across the shoulders.

and now for someting a little different... slightly sleazy seventies:
