Honestly though Gray Suede is your best option IMO especially if you're planning to tuck.

Why? Is it cause raw denim transitions better the texture of suede rather than shiny leather?

I wouldn't tuck with any of your choices. Tuck looks best with higher boots and you want nothing higher than ankle boots, tucked W+H does not look good

Some people have PMd asking what the shoes are. From left to right: Alexander McQueen C&J for Polo (shell) Alfred Sargent for TRL Paraboot John Lobb Jil Sander Alden Alden MMM Yuketen I have a pair of Hermes coming, and that will likely be it for now.
Is that a real dog, Moo? (0) I wouldn't let my dogs anywhere near my shoes. Or anything I value for that matter. Untrained German shepherds. :/

thanks for the suggestions, ill probably bring them to a cobbler and see whether a commando sole is necessary, if not ill just topy them.

I'm not lookin for a full on tuck... just something like this, unless this looks bad (jean openings look a little too big to me, mine are narrower) [IMG]

My pair of CP boots was super slippery the first 3-4 times I wore them but they're a little more normal now. Almost fell down a staircase.

    Jil Sander

What type of Alden is the third from the right and do you know what type of leather it is? The reddish brown color/patina is nice.

Thanks. It's the "Vegano Tan Calf" cap-toe boot from Winn Perry.

Every time I see a picture the color is different. Do you think the color in this picture is close to real life accurate?
