Yes, we purchased a few here but the studs/cufflinks are bit too large for a liking. I remember Mont Blanc used to carry a Tuxedo set a while back, but haven't seen anything recently.

I have a black slub silk dinner jacket and trousers, Dupioni/Thai I am not sure of the differences.

I do not wear it anything like as many times as Andy does his DJs, probably twice a year. It was made in the late 70's and so far has escaped the moths and does not show signs of wear, though it has been tight on some occasions over the years I can now fit it well again.

Depends on "good" and "too expensive." The Brits always seem to have cheap and serviceable sets at their shirtmakers. And here is another: http://www.darcyclothing.com/shop/evening-wear/set-of-3-dress-studs-st830.html

Then there are a few modernist things like this out there: https://therake.com/alice-made-this-austin-rose-gold-plated-cufflinks.html

Or even something like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-...=item2ab07611fa:g:kzwAAOSwaM1bVjzZ:rk:15:pf:0

Lol, good on you. Unless I simultaneously beef up the belly, attempting to grow beyond 42-43 is destined for disaster. An 11-12" drop is more than enough for me. Pain enough as is with exacerbating matters.

With apologies for the shonky phone photos, here is the black tie rig (Meyer & Mortimer bespoke) on its first outing.

Good call. I'd think about whether you want that much break on the trousers, but otherwise it is a fine-looking silhouette.

Thanks. You’re right on the break; I was running late in the office and misjudged the adjustment of the braces.
