    Also, a brief question - side vents, or ventless? I know what I am choosing but would be interested in hearing thoughts.

    No vent is the conventional wisdom on this, but personally I don't care.

    I know that no vent is the stylistic convention for tuxedos, but mine has side vents, which makes for a more comfortable jacket.

    I don't own a tuxedo but given the choice, I'd go with side vents.

    Under no circumstances are vents acceptable in a dinner jacket. Just sayin'
