X-post from the Carmina P0rn thread...
MTOs arrived today...model 803 on the Queens last in marron calf / leather sole and suede / York sole
We have a couple of very nice split toe Alfred Sargent CHARLTON in our sale at the moment, maybe worth a look?
Here are my BB Peals. Size 10.5 D
Paraboot Rousseau 9.5 D
I have a 10 year old pair of the C&J Peals identical to JRD617's, but with double leather soles instead of the Danites. On the more casual end of the spectrum compared to the EGs, but insanely comfortable and hard wearing - I'm a big fan of that 325 last. Easily in my top 3 of the causal shoe rotation and, if and when the soles ever go, I'll throw some Danites on from BNelson.
These are mine:
EG Dover, AS Charlton, Church's Darwin
^nice dovers. been looking to get a pair, but i keep getting put off by EG's relatively blobby lasts
Game, set, match.
Vass Norweger in cognac scotch grain from NMWA. I set out to buy Dovers and ended up with these instead. I've been very satisfied (though I still intend to get the Dovers at some point).
