Last Exit to Springfield -- 4th season.

Has Abe's long winded old timer story about strike breaking, the Big Book of British Smiles, Burns and Smithers as the Grinch and Max the dog, and much more.

I was always partial to the episode where Bart is an exchange student in France (and the commie spy kid is an exchange student in Springfield).

The all time best that never gets stale was the Frank Grimes episode.

I never play all episodes on any DVD. As far as I'm concerned, that function is useless. As for the question, my answer is "˜Lady Bouvier's Lover'.

Hmmm, since Bart, Marge and Homer are represented, how about a Lisa-featured one: "Lisa the Iconoclast" where she discovers that Springfield's founder was a pirate. Typical Lisa stuff, Homer providing the amusement, with Donald Sutherland guest starring in that one. As to quotes, let's not forget Mr. Burns: "I’ll keep it short and sweet. Family, religion and friendship. These are the three demons you must slay if you wish to succeed in business." Or, the School Superintendent: “Thank the Lord? That sounded like a prayer. A prayer in a public school. God has no place within these walls, just like facts don’t have a place in an organized religion." D'oh! [IMG]

Agree. Top ten of 1/2-hour comedy episodes.

For the first time in years I watched part of a new episode last night. I actually found myself chuckling a bit. It's been at least 4-5 years since I could say that.
