1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Then the client is the designer?

But any time you put your name on anything even if the customer demands it you're responsible. If your name is on a turd nobody is going to blame the customer. I guess they might blame the customer for buying a turd from you but in the end it's your name that gets covered in muck.

    kind of agree

Seen girls here in Korea wearing something similar. Looked pretty good on them.

Maybe they were made for a large woman?

If only there was snow in Mexico, these could double as skis.

There are places in the Southwest where people go sledding on sand.

Just seeing their trucks in the background, I don't know how they can ride in a vehicle whith those on. Do they take them off and step into them when they get out? Good thing that they don't have laces as you may lose an eye trying to tie a shoe like that.

They remind me of the penis gords worn by natives in Papua New Guinea (I believe).

Plenty of snow in Mexico. Mostly in kilo blocks.

Those, along with several other pairs, were listed as men's shoes. IIRC, the asking price for each pair was in the hundreds of dollars. WTF

Of course they are! They even come with their own rocks! Rock climbing in Oklahoma? No problem!

I think it's hard to criticize 50+ year old shoes for sh*t's sake. The guy who ordered them's probably been dead as long as many SF members have been alive. I DID have trouble with them being (essentially) high heels for men, though.

All these posts and yet nary a mention of those LV monstrosities with the monogram logo branded all over them.
