C&J Marlows for RL.

I think of them as perfect shoes… except for the dryness across the vamps. Is there anything I can to do to address this? I have tried brushing and Shaphir Reno, and they look great in their trees. But I take three steps in them and the dry streaks return.

Wax? Cordovan cream? Thanks in advance for your advice.

My RL's are the same way. Give Bick 4 a try and see if that helps

I agree.

I don't think it's dryness; rather, I think that it's "bloom", from the excess wax or oils emerging from the rolls in the shell when the shoes are worn.

Took a bit of a gamble on eBay and picked up these AS cigar cordovan PTBs for $200. Worn a little but not much, after some cleaning, conditioning and deer boning am very pleased.
