Did you look at Bonafè? In many regards the are quite similar. Hand welted, small production, family operated etc. And they are experts in Shell Cordovan as well.
Quite similar except better QC imo

Don't think I have worn these since July! It's a shame because I like this shoe a lot and need to get them into the rotation more regularly. Obviously didn't do a good enough job brushing, which wasn't obvious in my not so well lit closet.

Enzo Bonafe color 4 Balway, smooth shell uppers and hatch grain shell shaft. Wore these to my local post office yesterday to pick up a package, shoe care goodies from boot black shop.

May be a matter of personal preference, but I like Bonafe's execution the best among shell cordovan makers in my collection. They're true masters when it comes to shell. Fit isn't perfect though, otherwise I would've replaced half of my shell boots with Bonafe.
