Actually 4 different style called Marlow. Wingtips, plain toes, penny loafer, tassel loafer. Very odd indeed.
And the wingtips used to be called Darltons.

but ‘Marlow’ is the surname for that model. Each one though has a different first name: William, Bill, Willie, and Will

Uh, well the shell was from AA Crack-- I saw it on their insta and ZEB reached out to secure the hide. It was the only 1pc available at (I assume) XL size enough to make this single pair. It was listed by Crack as "Ultraviolet" (so that is what Horween is calling this color). I have an "ultraviolet" wallet from Ashland that looks basically Rubi now, but it was more red this than pair originally.

Yes, Simpson - Simpson in 10UK is pretty much made for my foot.

I’ve never handled the inside of shell before - is has a softer feel than I expected and the shoe certainly has more give than a lined model, maybe halfway in between lined shell and Janus suede.

I’ve never personally noticed hot feet even in summer, but am guessing they will be a bit cooler than lined.

Just some hilarious irony in that I put these Natty Shell Grayson's on to drop of my Randolph's at the cobbler for repair and take the pooch to the park. Must have scuffed them getting in or out of the car. Didn't notice it until we got to the park. 5 minutes with a dear bone, brush, rag, and a dab of Collonil 1909 and they are almost as good as new........

Nothing like the recuperative powers of Horween shell.
