Some Enzo Bonafé Cordovan make ups. All MTOs.

Horween Whiskey Shell and Inca 6127 (grain) - very mottled Whiskey in this make up, dunno why but IRL it's less pronounced

Same make up in the wild, on @justinkapur's feet:

    Leaves,

Those EB cordovan specimens may be some of the finest examples I have ever seen.

Some of the stuff from Ron Rider years ago was great. Vass also does an excellent job.

But there is just something special about those EB shell cordovans.

You can tell that EB handles that leather with great care and attention to the details.

Just splendid. I can't wait for mine.

    Thanks.

Thanks, yeah I was amazed the first time I saw a pair of Bonafé shell.

Thank you. I actually don't know the process they use for shell, but whatever they do it looks awesome. :)

    Church's Grafton in Burgundy Crup

    Gentlemen,

Today I present to you one of my newest and most unique acquisitions. The Church's are made in Northampton England on the 173 Last.

In their Crup a.k.a. shell cordovan leather. The thing that I have not been able to get over since receiving them is the shape of the last. So incredibly elegant for a gunboat style. Which, as many of you know, for my wide feet to look elegant is a rare thing.

But, nevertheless, these Church's are just that. The sheer quality of these is what took me by surprise as well. My cobbler is 3rd generation and was deeply staggered by the quality as well.

    So, here are the pics:

I know since the Prada buyout, Church's has turned more fashion forward and trendy, but these are some of the finest examples of shoemaking I have ever seen with my own 2 eyes. Stunning.

    Thanks.

    Hi,
I just recently ran across and purchased a pair of Santoni's. To my surprise they turned out to be Cordovan. I am not an expert on Horween or Santoni so are these shell or does Horween make a non shell cordovan also ? I purchased them for $300 NIB, Do any of you guys with more experience with Santoni believe this is a fair price ? Sorry about the pics. I will try and take some better ones shortly.

    Thank You Sir.

Lets just say they were around what people pay for AE 2nds when they are not on sale.

They were labeled subs but I cannot find anything wrong with them.

I actually bought them here on SF from @LS7

The Chap was a Gentleman and a Scholar.

Those are absolutely gorgeous. If anyone, anywhere ever gets a lead on a 11UK, I would be much obliged.
