Me too - a unique look.
loafers dont fit. they can be yours for $275
I have a pair of these. They are much more forgiving of a high arch than the Alden LHS. If you haven't been able to pick up a shell loafer due to the Van last, you should give these shoes a try.
These vintage Church's for Brooks Brothers were by far the best I've come across:
I've also sold a fair number of C&J for Ralph Lauren:
And Paraboot for BB:
Have you ever seen this pair before? It is Cheaney X Yamane Deluxe shell boots. I believe it was only available in Japan.
HA! excellent example of the leather from days long past. Very nice work on the shine up, as well.
^^...but such a shame that the eyelets have metal rings. These don't go so well with suits.
sez who???? Big, Classic, Metal eyelets + Suit + Big Cajones = Lookin' Good!
These are sweet. I want.
^ yeah, cool welting.
I'm really loving this shoe. Fit is great, the cordovan is a buttery smooth caramel and the last fits my feet perfectly. And none of this rolling waves of cordovan vamp creasing. I really lucked out with this pair
Looks great w/the socks. Are they DB's?
Thanks J. Db as in Duckie brown? Then yes. Great pair of shoooz
Did anyone notice that CJ cordovan is much rougher than Alden cordovan? My alden cordovans mold to my feet and fit like gloves whereas CJ cordovans are substantially rougher, I don't know if it is the double sole or any other construction feature, CJs don't feel as comfortable as Aldens.
