Wow those are incredible! What color?
Black with brown highlights. The goyser stitching sold me!
I didn't have black in my cordovan collection.
Pretty neat! The raw edge coupled with the reflection of the shell had me thinking it was a navy or dark green shell. Good choice!
I was thinking navy, too. Very awesome pair.
Thanks guys. They're a little "clunkier" then I was expecting, but good for when I'm in the Budapster mood?
Something a little different, Tanino Crisci cordovan PTB's with "boring solid color socks"
These took a shine like a dream (without too much effort)
^ They are very nice PTBs, very nice indeed.
I'm not even sure if Tanino Crisci is even making shoes anymore, as I think that I read some years back that they were shutting down.
Yes that's what I heard also. I found these on eBay, I have a talent for that!
Hot dog Jazz, those are nice!
Wanted to share how resilient shell cordovans are. I don't know what these pair has been through but a bit of magic and they're back to previous beauty.
Picked up these vintage Florsheim shells on ebay. Almost fell on my butt due to the v cleat. Will need to change the heel but am enjoying my first pair of shells!
Outstanding work on these!
I think they could do with some more slender laces, IMHO
What is the shoe model number on the inside of your pair if I may ask? I have a pair I obtained from ebay as well, but the shell was really hammered and I'm trying to determine if it's aged shell or if I was taken for a ride.
Sure, here you go:
Separate names with a comma.
