    Two recent acquisitions.

    #1:

Allen Edmonds Dalton in Walnut Shell Cordovan - acquired from a fellow SFer. These are ridiculously awesome, and, best of all, are unlined!

Maiden voyage for these Carmina longwings on the Detroit last.

Pretty smitten with Carmina shell thus far. Couple of questions: what's the equivalent to Carmina's "saddle" shell? Does Carmina offer a brown or cigar shell cordovan?

I don't own any Alden or CJ Whiskey, but Saddle has to be close if not the same. I don't know if Carmina has a brown/cigar shell.

Not sure if these will get much love here but don't think this make has yet made an appearance on this thread. A short wing brogue in brown shell by Ed Meier. Rather blobby but really well put together by C&J.

Picked up a pair of vintage Florsheim longwings in burgundy shell. They were on the original v-cleat heels, which were in good condition but I couldn't deal with the extreme danger of the suicide heels - just too slippery for my taste.

Just got them back from the cobbler, who put on new heels. At some point I'll probably have the whole shoe recrafted and put a Dainite sole and heel on, but for now this will be great.
