    Excellent, looks like walnut.


    I've got a pair as well but they are captoes on a commando sole.

    RogerP, the heelcup may just be a tad too large for you due to the gap in your photo. Heel grips might do the trick. It's a great, clean-looking shoe we've come to expect from Carmina.

    Fair comment. Rain last has a fairly generous heel cup. The photo does exaggerate the effect, however, as I am leaning well forward and down to take the pic. People point and laugh. :)

    Look, I could be wrong, but as RogerP points out, he's not standing straight upright and stock still. When people move or change positions, their clothes and accoutrements move with them. We can't expect things "in real life" to look the same as they do on a mannequin. Therefore, as I said, I could be wrong, but given that Roger is bending forward, I don't think that the small gap between the shoes and his ankles is too large.

    Unmarked, but fit me like a glove 10.5 around a D or E width.
