Did you beat me to the summer sale again ? :)

Congratulations ..
lol...nope; picked these up on the last day of May. Had a little snafu, when they mistakenly sent me the wrong pair. But, thanks to Sara’s quick and excellent CS, got these replacement beauties about 3 weeks ago.

Carmina does shell very well indeed. I am glad that their CS stepped up.

I once had a private seller ship me a watch.. the package arrived with only the box, no watch inside ;)
Thankfully, an honest mistake.. the watch was sitting in his collection case. He turned into a good friend thereafter.

whoa...judging from your shoe collection, you likely have just as exquisite taste in watches. That had to be scary, when I’ve bought off of Chrono24, I always hold my breath until the watch arrives...lol.

Left with less than 5 watches now.. used to have a much bigger collection/rotation. A bit disillusioned by the markups, the artificial scarcity and the social media frenzy .. now i deal only with essentials and use the energy to gobble up some shoes lol.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you’re like my brother from the other mother, as we say in the hood..lol. I did the exact same thing, for the same reasons. Interesting how the same thing has happened in the higher end shoe market. But, of course excellent shoes prices pale in comparison to excellent watches.

Which, as you probably also experienced, was welcomed by wifee...lol...of course one extra bed room full of shoes later, she’s not so sure..lol.

My SF brother sure comes with a super taste in footwear and happens to share my shoe size. We need to kick off a boot sharing platform lol ;-) or get you to move closer to Pittsburgh.

You couldn't be more accurate about the space occupying problem that boots and the boxes pose. I have debated moving them all to the basement .. for now, they are stacked up in the garage and I sure hope that no burglars ever know how much each pair costs :)

😊 ..a burglar that can get past my dog, and my AK deserves them.

Here’s my shoe solution, three of the four walls look like this. My wife is very tolerant of my addiction

I might also have a room decorated in the shoe box walls theme..
Also a similar waning of interest in watches for shoes.
