ahhh...I see. There is method to your madness eh?...lol, sneaky.

Now in terms of my point about not being concerned about others opinions on my appearance. The tenet still holds true, I truly dress based on my own standards. I have my ideas about bad looking shoes; they don’t meet my personal standards. Again, it’s not about how it looks to someone else. It’s about how it looks to me. Simply put, my standards are why I wear what I want with total confidence. I’m not desirous of any “approval”. I mean what one wears is about as personal as it gets. Also, I truly don’t have anything against those who wear rain spotted Shell. It’s clearly not what I would do, but I believe in live and let live. With the obvious provisos of course.

Haha, yes. Those are the ones.

ZEB is great. I own five pairs of them now so I suppose it makes me a bit of a fan.

I measured my feet as per their instructions, and off I went, so to speak. They can customize things the way you prefer, although sometimes now I get lazy and I just tell them the basics like, "this leather, this model, this last, you decide the details" and let them make me their vision. You pay in advance, prices are very reasonable (understatement) for MTM and even the wait time isn't bad at all. (Though they do have more orders nowadays I think and of course for a beloved pair, the wait will be agonizing anyway.)

At this point I trust them completely to get the details right because every pair I have is completely perfect in pretty much every way and they have an eye for what makes for n attractive makeup.

Great to read this about the brand. If I recall, it was started by a European gentleman who used to post here on SF on the Vass thread. He is a friend of Reszo Kuti who works for Dinckelacker.

I believe the shoes are actually made by an independent artisan in Budapest.
