It's funny, no offense, but when I started looking at this blog on a regular basis a few months ago
I just assumed if Alden was excluded that AE automatically would be too. In my opinion, not to throw shade,
    Alden makes a better shoe.

And I always assumed the exclusion of Alden had nothing to do with quality and everything to do with the fact that the Alden thread ends up being mostly shell anyway.

I think AE is entirely non sequitur.

    “Alden makes a better shoe”....

Well...yeah. That’s not exactly a secret, and you’ll likely need to look very hard to find anyone that seriously disagrees on that point.

This is just for a little exposure to all the other makers that are not as commonly known for shell like Alden is.

New Carmina burgundy shell loafers on the way......

The outlet has some nice shell stock for those looking, as for the loafers almost every size is in outlet stock.

I'm new around these parts as Cordovan hasnt been part of my rotation. I just picked up a pair of @Heinrich Dinkelacker budapesters in a Dark Cognac Shell. Waiting for a new pair of laces and a new shine to throw them on and get pics up here. Looking forward to joining the conversation.
